One year after the tragic DANA, Rubén Iranzo and Sara Tamarit, footballers from Valencia CF, as well as representatives from CF Atlético Sedaví, UD Aldaia CF and FBCD Catarroja, got together at Mestalla
The Fórum Algirós took place this Thursday, October 23 at the VIP Box of Mestalla. Those affected by the tragic DANA of October 2024 shared their testimonies as part of the anniversary that will take place on Wednesday 29th.
Organized by the Heritage Department of the VCF Foundation, “Units Com Sempre · One year after the DANA” brought together, among others, Rubén Iranzo and Sara Tamarit, footballers from Valencia CF, as well as representatives from CF Atlético Sedaví, UD Aldaia CF, and FBCD Catarroja, all three VCF Schools.
The four teams and their respective academies received support from Valencia CF, the VCF Foundation, Divina Seguros—the Club’s official insurer—and LaLiga for the reconstruction, already completed and imminent, of their training and match facilities.
Likewise, Valencia CF’s general director Javier Solís and Club ambassador Miguel Tendillo attended the Forum, as did the president of the VCF Footballers Association, Fernando Giner, the president of the VCF Supporters’ Groups Association, Fede Sagreras, and directors of the Small Shareholders Association.
